Duplicate or Multiple Account Detection

Purpose: To handle cases where same user creates multiple profiles

When to Use

If duplicate email/IP/device detected

Instructions

  1. Verify primary account details

  2. Disable duplicate profiles

  3. Proceed with only one valid account

Troubleshooting / Exceptions

  1. Reuse of the same email, phone number, or ID across accounts may trigger fraud checks.

  2. Multiple accounts created from the same IP or device may be flagged as suspicious.

  3. Duplicate detection may override successful ID verification results.

Escalation Path
