Why My Verification Shows 'Failed' After Successful Submission
Purpose: Resolving discrepancies between the submission screen and the tracker.
Audience - Candidates
When to Use
If your iDenfy screen said 'Success' but you receive a failure email later.
Instructions
1. A 'Success' screen on iDenfy means the upload finished.
2. The data is then reviewed by an AI and/or a human.
3. Check your email for a specific rejection reason (e.g., 'Document Tampered' or 'Unsupported ID').
4. Do not try to re-use the same document if it was rejected for being unsupported.
Troubleshooting / Exceptions
Sometimes the system flags a submission for 'Manual Review' which may take up to 1 business day.
Escalation Path
Email iis-scholars-support@imerit.net if your status hasn't updated 48 hours after a successful submission.
